Come into the parlour

 There's an old Irish song, with lyrics that say,    "If you're Irish, come into the parlour, there's a welcome there for you...  As long as you come from Ireland, there's a welcome on the mat."   Welcome to our parlour. Irish or not, you're as welcome as could be. I hope this blog proves to be a safe, comforting spot on the internet, where you can come as you are, and feel "as welcome as the flowers in May," as my dad would say. I invite you to join me as I document life from my corner of the world, with all its ups and downs, successes and disappointments.
